These units feature the latest cutting-edge technology, using high brightness and high efficiency 1,2W LEDs, which have a multitude of benefits including silent operation, durability, low power consumption with compact size.

The LED light sources are a mixture of red, green and blue to produce via RGB electronic mixing, an endless palette of attractive pastel or deep colours, which can crossfade slowly or be snap changed as desired.

Alternatively, the units can be controlled by dedicated controllers or any DMX 512 controllers. Various models are available with different beam angle options.

The fixture’s main innovation is its use of 49 high-power Luxeon LEDs as a light source

THE SOLID STATE LIGHTING
SSL-LEDs and their Benefits

Solid State lighting through Light-Emitting Diodes (SSL-LEDs) is the use of solid-state, inorganic semiconductor light-emitting diodes to produce white light for illumination. Inorganic semiconductor transistors displace vacuum tubes for computation. SSL-LED uses the same disruptive technology and has the potential to displace vacuum or gas tubes (like those used in traditional incandescent or fluorescent lamps) for lighting.

The enhanced efficiency and versatility associated with SSL-LEDs over traditional vacuum or gas tubes will enable:

Substantial reductions in electrical energy consumption 
Substantial reductions in carbon-related pollution 
Substantial improvement in the overall human visual experience 
Creation of a new optoelectronics-based lighting industry

SSL-LED technology can be viewed from two perspectives. How it is fabricated, its form, and how it performs, its functions. Form and functions are inter-related, of course. How any technology performs depends on what ca be fabricated, is largely driven by desired performance.
